10 Best Fertility and IVF Clinics in Bangkok

Ten Bangkok fertility and IVF providers compared on published treatments, accreditation and locations, from dedicated clinics to hospital centers.

Bangkok, ThailandReviewed 10 providers

Fertility care in Bangkok comes from two very different kinds of address. Dedicated clinics occupy floors of office towers around Ploenchit, Asoke and Ratchadamri, while several general hospitals run in-house fertility centers with surgery, anesthesia and other specialties in the same building. What they publish differs just as much: some name their accreditations, others describe only their laboratory services. Assisted reproduction in Thailand is a regulated field as well, so eligibility and paperwork are questions to settle early. This comparison reports what each of the ten providers states on its own official pages.

The basis for this comparison

All ten operate a physical fertility service in Bangkok and publish a site of their own describing the treatments they provide, with a verifiable street address behind it. We recorded service lists, founding dates and accreditations exactly as each provider words them, and no entry paid for its place. Agencies, brokers and overseas-facing sites that market Thai treatment without naming a licensed clinic or an address were excluded, including one that borrows the name of a clinic listed below.

The ten providers and what each publishes

1Jetanin Hospital

Jetanin Hospital

Jetanin Hospital in Chidlom has run as a dedicated assisted-reproduction center since 1995 and is registered as a hospital rather than a clinic, which is unusual in this field. Its own account, published on the hospital's site, records the first TESE and ICSI treatment in Southeast Asia and states that across 2017 and 2018 it became the region's first IVF clinic accredited by both JCI and RTAC. Listed services run from IVF, ICSI and IUI to genetic testing, egg freezing and surgical sperm retrieval. Ask which named specialist would run your cycle and who covers when that doctor is away.

2Superior A.R.T.

Superior A.R.T.

Superior A.R.T. was set up in 2007 by Thai infertility specialists working with Australian assisted reproduction providers, and its Bangkok centre pairs IVF and ICSI with preimplantation genetic testing; the clinic states it has screened embryos for more than 200 genetic conditions. That genetics emphasis is the reason to look at it, particularly for couples who already know they carry an inherited condition. The site refers to working under ISO standards without naming a certificate, so if accreditation matters to you, ask which standard applies and request the paperwork rather than accepting the phrase.

3SAFE Fertility Group

SAFE Fertility Group

SAFE Fertility Group runs its flagship clinic on the 17th floor of Gaysorn Amarin on Ploenchit Road and states on its site that it was the first clinic in Thailand accredited by RTAC, the Australian and New Zealand reproductive technology committee, alongside ISO 9001:2015 certification. Multilingual personal assistants are published as part of the service, covering English, Chinese, Japanese and Vietnamese among other languages. Since the group also operates branches outside Bangkok, establish at the outset which clinic performs the laboratory work and where each monitoring visit happens.

4Genesis Fertility Center

Genesis Fertility Center

Genesis Fertility Center works from Rama IX Road with a second Bangkok branch on Rama III, and its published services run from IUI through IVF and ICSI to frozen embryo transfer and PGT-A using next-generation sequencing, as listed on the clinic's site. Two branches on different sides of the city matter more than they might sound, because monitoring during a cycle means repeated early-morning visits. Neither a founding year nor a named accreditation appears on its English pages, so ask how long the laboratory has operated and to what external standard.

5First Fertility PGS Center

First Fertility PGS Center

First Fertility PGS Center occupies the 13th floor of PS Tower on Sukhumvit 21, a short walk from Asoke, and publishes a detailed treatment list on its site: IVF and ICSI, chromosome screening, IUI, egg freezing, semen analysis, surgical sperm retrieval and hysteroscopy, plus fertility check-ups for both partners. The clinic describes a multilingual team and publishes in Thai, English and Chinese. One caution to carry with you: another site aimed at overseas patients uses a near-identical First Fertility brand, so make sure the address you are writing to is the PS Tower one before you hand over records or pay a deposit.

6iBaby Fertility & Genetic Center

iBaby Fertility & Genetic Center

iBaby Fertility & Genetic Center was founded in 2010 by Dr. Pisit Tantiwattanakul and occupies the 11th floor of Athenee Tower on Wireless Road, with IUI, IVF and ICSI, egg freezing and the full preimplantation testing range, PGT-A, PGT-M and PGT-SR, published on the clinic's site. Its about page says patients have arrived from more than 25 countries. Genetic testing results depend heavily on where that work is carried out, so ask whether the preimplantation testing runs in-house at Athenee Tower or is sent to an outside laboratory, and how long results take.

7Genea Thailand (GenPrime)

Genea Thailand (GenPrime)

Genea Thailand, trading as GenPrime, sits on the 10th floor of Central Tower at CentralWorld and applies reproductive technology from Genea in Australia, with ICSI, IUI, egg and sperm freezing, carrier screening and PGT-A and PGT-M listed on its official site. A dedicated international patients section is published in English, Thai, Chinese, Myanmar and Korean. The site cites ISO certification without identifying the certificate, and the Australian link is a technology partnership rather than a branch, so ask what is actually delivered in Bangkok and what is not.

8Bumrungrad International Hospital

Bumrungrad International Hospital

Bumrungrad International Hospital runs its fertility and IVF center as one department of a JCI-accredited general hospital on Sukhumvit Soi 3, which changes the calculation when treatment involves surgery, an existing medical condition or a problem out of hours. Anesthesia, imaging and a 24-hour emergency center are on the same campus rather than a taxi ride away. The trade-off is that you are entering a large institution with many departments, so ask who your single point of contact will be across the weeks a cycle takes.

9Bangkok Hospital (Headquarters)

Bangkok Hospital (Headquarters)

Bangkok Hospital's headquarters campus lists a fertility center within the female wellness group of services on Soi Soonvijai, alongside its women's health and mother and child sections. The international medical services team and the Expat Care Center handle language and coordination for patients from abroad. Because this is a multi-building campus shared with heart and cancer hospitals, the sharpest questions here are logistical: confirm which building holds monitoring appointments and whether early scans can be done before working hours.

10Vejthani Hospital

Vejthani Hospital

Vejthani Hospital publishes its fertility centre among the specialty centers of a JCI-accredited hospital in eastern Bangkok, which gives Lat Phrao, Bang Kapi and Ramkhamhaeng residents an option that avoids crossing the city at seven in the morning during a monitoring cycle. Its international service center covers translation across eight languages, with visa and travel help alongside. The hospital's contact page blocked automated checks during our research, so confirm the address and the centre's opening hours directly before a first appointment.

How to weigh up a fertility provider in Bangkok

Choosing a fertility or IVF clinic in Bangkok is a decision that deserves more than a glance at a ranking. Before you commit to a consultation package or a treatment cycle, it is worth asking each clinic directly how its success rates are defined and measured. Success can mean different things depending on how it is calculated, whether it reflects pregnancy per cycle started, live births per embryo transfer, or outcomes broken out by age group and diagnosis.

It is also worth taking the time to understand the laboratory technology and clinical protocols a clinic actually uses. Ask about the embryology lab's equipment, how embryos are monitored and graded, what genetic screening options are available, and how the medical team tailors protocols to individual cases.

If your treatment plan involves donor eggs, donor sperm, or surrogacy, you should confirm the legal requirements under Thai law before proceeding with any clinic. Do not rely solely on a clinic's own summary of the law. Consult independent legal counsel familiar with Thai reproductive law.

Fertility and IVF programs in Bangkok are often housed within, or closely affiliated with, larger hospital systems rather than operating as fully standalone practices. If you want a wider view of the hospital landscape in the city before narrowing your choice, our guide to the best hospitals in Bangkok is a useful starting point for that context.
