8 Best Gyms and Fitness Clubs in Pattaya

Eight Pattaya gyms, fitness clubs and Muay Thai camps compared on the addresses, hours, timetables and rates each one publishes on its own site.

Pattaya, ThailandReviewed 8 providers

Pattaya's fitness supply does not sit in one place or take one shape. Along Thanon Pattaya Nuea and the lanes behind Sukhumvit sit residential Muay Thai and combat sports camps that sell training by the session, the ten pack or the month, often with rooms attached. In Central Pattaya, on Pratumnak Hill and out towards Khao Talo the format changes to conventional membership gyms, mall branches of Thai chains and a hotel sports club selling day passes. This comparison puts both kinds side by side, using only what each venue publishes on its own website.

How we compared these gyms

Every venue here had to run its own official website carrying a street address in Pattaya or Bang Lamung, plus at least one of the following published in the open: a price list, opening hours, a class timetable or a facilities list. Venues that exist only on booking marketplaces, review sites or social pages were left out, as were two Pattaya gyms whose domains no longer resolve and one whose site gives no address beyond the city name. We repeat no venue's marketing claims about results, rankings or transformation, and no venue paid to appear.

1Fairtex Training Center Pattaya

Fairtex Training Center Pattaya

Fairtex sits on Thanon Pattaya Nuea in North Pattaya and publishes more operational detail than most venues on this list: nine full size Muay Thai rings, two bag areas, an air conditioned BJJ room, a fitness room with treadmills and lifting machines, a strength and conditioning area, a full size pool and a visa office for foreign students. Rates are itemised on the site at 800 baht a session, 7,000 baht for ten and 16,500 baht for a month unlimited, with BJJ priced separately. The gym is inside the Fairtex Hotel, so it suits people who want training and a room in one place. Opening is stated as six days a week, 7:30am to 8pm, so check the closed day before you plan a full week. Prices are listed at fairtextrainingcenter.com.

2Elite Gym & Fitness Pattaya

Elite Gym & Fitness Pattaya

Elite Gym is a conventional air conditioned membership gym in Bang Lamung, and it is the most transparent venue here on cost. The rates page runs from a 300 baht day pass through a 2,200 baht month to 18,600 baht for twelve months, with personal training at 2,000 baht an hour, single classes at 300 baht and functional training billed as a separate product that memberships do not cover. Hours are given as 6:30 to 22:00 daily. One inconsistency worth raising when you call: the floor area appears as 1,600 square metres on the rates page and 950 square metres on the homepage. This suits a resident or long stay visitor who wants a straightforward monthly gym rather than coached camp training. The full rate card is at elitegympattaya.com.

3Fitness 7 Pattaya

Fitness 7 Pattaya

Fitness 7 Pattaya. This is the Pattaya branch of the Thai Fitness 7 chain, and it is the only entry here inside a shopping centre, on the first floor of The Avenue on Pattaya Sai Song Road in Central Pattaya. The chain states that every branch runs 24 hours a day, seven days a week, which makes it the obvious option for shift workers and late arrivals. The branch page describes over 2,000 square metres with cardio machines, weighted machines, free weights, a boxing ring and a functional training area, and says classes at this branch carry no extra charge. Prices are not on the branch page, so ask for the current rate card and any joining fee before signing. Branch details are published at fitness7thailand.com.

4Kombat Group Thailand

Kombat Group Thailand

Kombat Group is out at Huai Yai in Bang Lamung, well inland from the beach, and it is built as a residential camp rather than a drop in gym. Its own pages publish a full weekly grid: Muay Thai mornings and evenings Monday to Saturday, Western boxing on a similar pattern, functional training twice a day on weekdays, Krav Maga three evenings a week and Brazilian Jiu-Jitsu on a split morning and evening schedule. Facilities are given as 800 square metres of Muay Thai space plus a 500 square metre boxing gym, an MMA cage, weights and cardio, with accommodation on site. A free one day pass is offered, limited to Muay Thai and Western boxing. The timetable is published at muaythaipattaya.com, which the group runs for its Pattaya camp.

5RAGE Fight Academy

RAGE Fight Academy

RAGE Fight Academy is on Soi Norway off Thappraya Road, on the Jomtien side of Pattaya, and describes itself as about five minutes from Dongtan beach. The site lists three full sized rings across two Muay Thai and boxing areas, a matted BJJ and MMA zone, a functional fitness and weight room, a pool, a cafe and rooms on site, with a sauna and ice bath described as under construction. Worth knowing before you plan around it: the class timetable and the price list are published only as scanned images on the training page, which are awkward to read on a phone and easy to leave outdated, so confirm both by phone. Facilities and location are described at ragefightacademy.com.

6Castra Gym Pattaya

Castra Gym Pattaya

Castra Gym is on Soi Khao Talo, east of Sukhumvit in the residential belt locals call the dark side, which makes it a practical choice if you live out that way and a long trip if you are staying on the beach road. Its site organises the floor into a Strength Zone, a Combat Zone and a Cardio Zone, and adds pages for classes, trainers and a fight club. The evidence is thinner than most entries here: no opening hours and no price list are published anywhere on the site, and the contact page carries only an address, a phone number and an email. Treat every figure you see quoted elsewhere as unconfirmed and call first. Contact details are at castragym.com.

7Sityodtong Muay Thai Pattaya

Sityodtong Muay Thai Pattaya

Sityodtong is a traditional Muay Thai camp in Bang Lamung, and its site is the oldest in feel of anything here. It states that the camp was established in 1960, that it trains beginner, intermediate and advanced students, that it takes both adults and children, and that trainers give private one on one lessons, pad work and small group sessions. A four week fight camp combining training with housing is advertised for people planning to compete. Be aware that the site's Training Prices and Camp/Gym Schedule pages were both published empty when we checked, so there is no way to compare session times or costs online and you will have to phone. The camp page is at sityodtongthailand.com.

8FITZ Club at Royal Cliff

FITZ Club at Royal Cliff

FITZ Club is the sports club at the Royal Cliff on Phra Tamnak Road, Pratumnak Hill, and it is the broadest facility on this list rather than a pure gym. Alongside the fitness centre and padded aerobic studio the club publishes seven floodlit tennis courts, two air conditioned squash courts, a multipurpose court for pickleball, basketball, badminton and futsal, sauna and steam rooms, a pool with jacuzzi and slides, and Thai boxing at THB 1,100 per session for beginners. Gym, classes, sauna and steam run 7:00am to 9:00pm; courts and pool close at 8:00pm. Day passes are sold at reception and bundle the gym, pool and sauna with an hour of court time. Details are at royalcliff.com.

What to check before you sign up

Once you've narrowed your options, it's worth taking a few practical steps before committing to a membership. Ask each gym directly about trial classes or day passes so you can test the equipment, the vibe, and the crowd levels at the times you'd actually be training, rather than relying on photos or a quick front-desk tour. Pay attention to how well-maintained the machines and free weights are, and check that class schedules genuinely line up with your goals.

If working with a personal trainer is part of your plan, don't hesitate to ask about their certifications and background before booking sessions. A reputable trainer should be able to explain their qualifications and how they'd tailor a program to your fitness level and any injuries or limitations you have.

Before signing anything, read the contract and cancellation terms carefully. Membership structures in Pattaya vary widely, from flexible month-to-month arrangements to longer-term contracts with cancellation fees, so make sure you understand what happens if you need to pause, transfer, or end your membership early.

Fitness is often just one part of a broader wellness routine, and many readers in Pattaya also look into recovery and beauty treatments alongside their gym routine. If that's on your radar, our beauty clinics in Pattaya guide lays out options for spa and beauty services around the city, which can be a useful next stop once your fitness routine is sorted out.
