Pattaya draws long stay retirees, motorbike commuters, Muay Thai and football players, and office workers who spend the day at a screen, so demand for physiotherapy here is unusually mixed. This comparison looks at eight places in Pattaya that publish a physiotherapy or rehabilitation service staffed by physical therapists: three hospital departments and five standalone clinics. Thai massage shops, spas and wellness resorts are excluded, however they describe their treatments, because this list is limited to clinical physiotherapy.
How we compared these clinics
We started from providers with a working website in Pattaya and Bang Lamung, then read each site for one thing: a published physiotherapy or rehabilitation service delivered by physical therapists rather than massage staff. We recorded the address, the treatment list, the equipment named, the languages the site is published in and any therapist qualifications shown. Providers that could not show a clinical service on their own site were left out. There is no ranking order and no payment involved.
Pattaya International Hospital
Pattaya International Hospital runs physiotherapy as a hospital department rather than an outsourced clinic. Its departmental page divides the work into orthopaedic, neurological and pulmonary physical therapy plus pre and post-operative rehabilitation, which is a wider clinical scope than most standalone practices in the city can offer. Chest physiotherapy in particular is rarely published by private clinics here. The page is short on detail about individual therapists, session length and pricing, so treat those as open questions and confirm them by telephone. Reasonable choice if your rehabilitation follows an admission or an operation at the same hospital.
Pattaya Memorial Hospital
Pattaya Memorial Hospital lists Physical Therapy among its clinical departments and publishes a short description of the clinic, its benefits and a photograph of the therapy room on the hospital's physical therapy page. The hospital sits on Central Pattaya Road in Nong Prue, and its site is published in English, Thai, Russian and Chinese, which matters if you are more comfortable being assessed in Russian. The published information is thinner than at the other two hospitals here: no equipment list, no therapist names and no session prices. Call the department first and ask what a first assessment includes.
The Physio Physical Therapy Clinic
The Physio is the option with the widest published equipment list of the standalone clinics compared here, covering ultrasound, high power laser, radial shockwave, electrical stimulation, traction and peripheral magnetic stimulation. Its team page names five physiotherapists with B.Sc. PT qualifications, several with additional master's degrees, and the clinic runs two branches, one in Jomtien and one on Pratamnak, with separate telephone numbers. The site is published in English and Thai. Note that the clinic markets itself with strong superlatives on its own homepage, so weigh the published qualifications rather than the slogan, and check which branch your therapist works from.
TARA Physical Therapy Clinic
TARA sits on Thepprasit Road in Nongprue and publishes a longer condition list than most clinics in this comparison, including scoliosis, vestibular rehabilitation for vertigo, Bell's palsy, blocked milk ducts and joint replacement rehabilitation. It also publishes session prices for its office syndrome packages, which is uncommon locally. Four physiotherapists are named with their fields, covering orthopaedic, sports, geriatric and neurological work. Part of the office syndrome package is described as therapeutic massage, so if you want purely clinical treatment, say that when booking and ask what the assessment itself covers.
Rehab & Performance
Rehab & Performance is in Pong, a few kilometres inland from the beach road, and is the only clinic in this comparison that publishes hydrotherapy alongside its land based work. Its service menu separates sports, musculoskeletal, orthopaedic, neurological, cardiovascular, age care and women's health physiotherapy, and the site is English language throughout. Evidence about staffing is thinner than elsewhere: the team page leads with a named founder but publishes little about individual therapist qualifications. Ask which therapist will treat you and what their registration is, and confirm the pool arrangement before travelling for hydrotherapy.
Royal Physiotherapy Clinic Pattaya
Royal Physiotherapy Clinic Pattaya works mainly with orthopaedic and sports injuries, listing the Mulligan technique, manipulation and mobilisation, spinal and joint pain, and rehabilitation after shoulder or ACL arthroscopy. Its about page names founder Natchaya Bamrungchua and publishes a Doctor of Physical Therapy degree, an M.Sc. in sports science and spinal manipulative therapy certificates. One caveat a reader should see before arriving: the shopfront on 3rd Road also advertises sports, Thai and oil massage and a sauna, so make clear that you are booking physiotherapy with the physiotherapist, not a massage slot.
Khao Noi Physiotherapy Clinic Pattaya
Khao Noi is the smallest practice compared here, a single physiotherapist clinic on Soi Khao Noi that opened in 2018. Its about page names Ms. Siriporn Ongjam and states she worked as a physiotherapist at Bangkok Hospital Pattaya from 2010 to 2018 before opening the clinic, with a rehabilitation degree from Christian University and manual therapy and taping courses. The clinic publishes a home visit service aimed at stroke patients and people who cannot travel, which is useful for carers. With one practitioner, availability is limited, so ask about waiting times and whether treatment continues during any absence.
What to check before you book
Choosing the right physiotherapy clinic in Pattaya comes down to matching the therapist's actual specialty to your condition, rather than assuming any physiotherapist can treat any issue equally well. A clinic that excels at post-surgical orthopedic rehab or sports injury recovery may not have the same depth in neurological rehabilitation, vestibular therapy, or pediatric development work, and the reverse is also true. Before booking, ask directly what conditions the treating therapist focuses on day to day, how long they have worked with cases similar to yours, and whether they collaborate with a physician or orthopedic specialist when a case calls for it.
It is equally worth asking about the practical shape of your treatment plan before you commit. Recovery timelines vary enormously depending on the condition, its severity, and your own response to therapy, so be cautious of any clinic that promises a fixed number of sessions or a guaranteed result up front. Instead, ask how often sessions are typically recommended for a case like yours, what a realistic early milestone might look like, and how progress will be reassessed along the way. You should also confirm what equipment and facilities are actually on site.
Finally, take the time to have a brief consultation, in person or by phone, before committing to a course of treatment, and do not hesitate to ask questions until you feel confident in the answers.
If you are weighing options beyond Pattaya, or simply want a broader sense of what is available elsewhere in the country, our nationwide physiotherapy and rehabilitation clinic overview lays out how clinics across Thailand approach these same questions of specialty, facilities, and treatment planning.

Bangkok Hospital Pattaya. The Rehabilitation Center at Bangkok Hospital Pattaya sits on the third floor of A building and publishes hours of 08:00 to 20:00, Monday to Sunday. Its page states that physiotherapy assessment is done by physicians and treatment by a team of physical therapists, and it lists post-orthopaedic, musculoskeletal and neurological rehabilitation, occupational therapy for children, traction, partial body weight support and shockwave therapy. It suits readers who want a physician referral, imaging and inpatient follow up in one place after surgery or a stroke, rather than a walk-in session. Ask about pricing per session and about insurance direct billing before you book.
