The Senior

The Senior is an elderly and chronic-care centre at 206/1 Phahonyothin 30, Chatuchak, Bangkok. Its official FAQ says it has cared for older adults and short- and long-term patients since 1996, founded by Dr Chalermchart Wannapruek, a geriatric specialist trained in the UK (FAQ).

Services include day rehabilitation and day care, post-operative physiotherapy, stroke recovery, dementia and Alzheimer’s care, pressure-sore care, Parkinson’s care, palliative care and dialysis support. Accommodation includes shared four-bed, two-bed and single rooms. The centre lists doctors, nurses, nutritionists, physiotherapists, nursing assistants and caregivers, plus an ambulance.
